That distinction prevents a prospective medical applicant from applying the general price band to a clinical degree. Interpreting the published cost
The retained 2026/27 general range is a previous-cohort reference; Sheffield also lists a 2027/28 general overseas range of £27,650–£34,670, with Medicine and Dentistry outside it. The university says the first-year tuition rate generally continues for the same course, subject to its conditions. Neither range identifies the fee for an individual offer.
